Our event’s company has had an amazing history creating each and every EQUITANA event in Australia and New Zealand for 22 years.

In 1998 the State government approached our company wanting an event to be conducted in the springtime to show that Melbourne supports equine sport beyond horseracing. We therefore searched the globe for the perfect event and discovered EQUITANA Germany. It had an expo, a huge education program, a large entertainment element, and brought the equine community together. This formed the starting pillars of the first EQUITANA Melbourne event in 1999 and our journey with equine.

EQUITANA Melbourne

EQUITANA 2020 promises MORE of what you love, bringing the world of equine education, entertainment, exhibition and competition to the heart of Melbourne from 19 to 22 November, 2020.

Held biennially, over 40,000 people flock to the Melbourne Showgrounds to celebrate the greatest equine event in the southern hemisphere.

EQUITANA Auckland

The EQUITANA team returned to New Zealand for its second EQUITANA Auckland event in 2019 with an all star international line up including Rider of the 20th Century Sir Mark Todd. The focus of the event was on equestrian youth development with NZPCA joining EQUITANA as the official community partner. Event highlight was not surprisingly, the TWOTH competition – Trans Tasman Challenge, with two trainers from each country NZ and Australia going head to head.
