The new Noosa Century Rides were received with overwhelming approval from participants this morning. In the past two years the event has started in the heart of Brisbane before winding its way to Noosa. But this year both the 160km and 100km event started and finished in Noosa and while they were weary as they crossed the line all agreed it was by no means easy but certainly spectacular.  Read more

Dominate performances by local Sunshine Coast triathlete Tim George and Brisbane long distance running sensation Clare Geraghty earned them the 2010 Noosa Half Marathon titles yesterday morning.  Breaking into the winners circle after finishing fourth here last year, George clocked a one hour 10 minutes and 50 seconds for the 21.1km course ahead of Sydney's Barry Keem and Steven Page.  Read more

World 5km champion Melissa Gorman today swam into the history books to claim her fifth Noosa title while Australian team mate Brendan Capell snatched victory on the line from 2009 winner Trent Grimsey in the Noosa Blue Water 2km Swim classic this morning.  Noosa turned on a glorious autumn day with crystal clear water and dolphins accompanying a capacity field in the 2km event.

Due to the tremendous demand in the Noosa Running Festival events we have had to make some changes to the Noosa Mizuno 10km Run and Noosa Run/Walk start times.  We have altered these times to accommodate this influx of entries in the three distances and to ensure that all participants have a fair and safe race. Please note the new start times here.

Please note that the Zinc 96 1Km Swim wave starts have been amended slightly due to the event's popularity. The written briefing that you will receive in your event kit on Saturday morning will have incorrect Zinc 96 1Km Swim wave starts – please refer to our website or the information boards at the event to confirm your wave start.

The Noosa Blue Water 2km Swim is at capacity and no further entries including on the day entries will be accepted. The 2km swim has limited entries to comply with the National Park & Wildlife Services restrictions. To swim in the event you must be wearing the correct coloured swim cap provided in your registration kit and be body numbered. No unregistered swimmers will be permitted to enter the water with the Noosa Blue Water Swim wave starts.  Check your wave start here
